The National Bank of Georgia and the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at facilitating mutual access to their securities markets.

The agreement was signed by National Bank of Georgia First Vice-Governor Ekaterine Mikabadze and AFSA Chief Executive Officer Yevgeniya Bogdanova on the sidelines of the Astana Finance Days 2026 forum, according to Sputnik Georgia.

Under the memorandum, the two regulators will work to establish practical mechanisms for mutual market access, taking into account the laws and regulatory requirements of both jurisdictions.
