Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to discuss economic cooperation, trade diversification and European Union support for Armenia's economy.

Speaking alongside von der Leyen after the meeting, Pashinyan said the two had discussed Armenia's economic diversification efforts and the use of various EU support mechanisms, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

"I would like to express my gratitude for the European Union's budget support of €52 million, and I hope that the EU's assistance in diversifying trade and promoting exports will continue," he noted.
