Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that Moscow is ready for open dialogue and cooperation with Armenia on information security and cybersecurity issues, should the Armenian side express the appropriate interest.

Zakharova made the remarks during a briefing while referring to Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan’s statement that Armenia is prepared to also consider Russia’s experience in combating hybrid attacks, if such expertise is available.

“This can be discussed endlessly. It is a two-way street: if there is a need and genuine interest, we are ready to respond. As for Russia’s capabilities, the specific request should be clarified—whether it concerns information protection, combating cyber fraud, or other issues. We are ready not only to provide expert opinions, but also to cooperate across a number of areas,” she said.
