President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, received today Federal Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Ignazio Cassis, who arrived in the country on an official visit.

An exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland, in particular, the current agenda of interaction in the political, trade and economic spheres, interregional cooperation, Swiss project activities in Kyrgyzstan, the development of tourism and mountain regions were discussed.

The head of state noted with satisfaction the fruitful cooperation between the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
