As part of his participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski spoke at a panel focused on new opportunities in regional and intercontinental connectivity, titled “New Opportunities in Connectivity.”

Mucunski stressed that connectivity is a key factor for economic resilience, regional stability and sustainable development, especially amid geopolitical uncertainty and changes in global supply chains. He further underlined that the Republic of North Macedonia, as a country strategically positioned at the crossroads between Europe and the broader Eurasian region, plays an active role in enhancing regional infrastructure and transport connectivity, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign trade said in a press release.
