Malaysia has repatriated 10,000 Myanmar nationals held in immigration detention since January through air and sea routes, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said Tuesday.

Anwar made the remarks during Ministers’ Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat, Malaysia’s lower house of parliament, in Kuala Lumpur, the state news agency Bernama reported.

He was responding to a question on the government's approach toward Myanmar nationals, including refugees, asylum seekers and particularly Rohingya.
