Kazakhstan’s Minister of Industry and Construction Yersaiyn Nagaspayev held a meeting with Japan’s Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Kenji Yamada. The sides discussed investment cooperation and partnership in industrial collaboration, Qazinform News Agency reports.

Particular emphasis was placed to implementing agreements reached during Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s state visit to Tokyo in December 2025. A total of 60 commercial agreements worth more than 3.7 billion US dollars were signed, including projects aimed at introducing advanced Japanese technologies and solutions into production.
