Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Sudani met delegation from U.S. Energy Company Morghan Hughes.

The Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met on Tuesday with Mr. Gregory Bloom, Vice President of the U.S.-based Energy company Morghan Hughes, in the presence of Mr. Steven Fagin, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Iraq.

The statement read “The meeting included a discussion of potential avenues for cooperation and opportunities for the company to participate in developing oil fields and investing in associated gas. The Prime Minister affirmed Iraq’s commitment to fully utilizing all associated gas produced from oil fields by 2028.”
