Azerbaijan and Georgia will deepen their cooperation ties across various sectors. It's after Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Tbilisi to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

That's according to a statement from the Georgian government which said that both sides reaffirmed that ties between Georgia and Azerbaijan are grounded in strategic partnership and good neighbourly principles. They welcomed the steady progress in political, economic, and infrastructure cooperation.

The two leaders also highlighted the growing trade turnover and discussed expanding economic ties further. Key regional projects — particularly those tied to energy and transport along the Middle Corridor — were noted for their role in strengthening regional connectivity.
