Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani affirmed on Wednesday the economic importance of the Al-Faw Investment Refinery project, noting that it will be a breakthrough in the oil industry.

The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani chaired a meeting to discuss the finalization of procedures related to the Al-Faw Investment Refinery project, attended by a number of the Prime Minister's advisors and the directors-general of the Ministries of Finance and Oil.”
