Iraq's Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived in Germany on Thursday to participate in the Munich Security Conference.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said, “Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived in Munich, Germany, to participate in the 62nd Munich Security Conference (MSC), which will be held from February 13 to 15, 2026.”

“The Munich Security Conference is the most prominent event for discussing security and foreign policy issues, bringing together heads of state, government officials, foreign and defense ministers, as well as experts and decision-makers from around the world to discuss the most pressing security and strategic challenges,” according to the statement.
