Iraqi President Nizar Amedi affirmed to Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Sunday Iraq's support for Lebanon's security and political and economic stability.

The Iraqi Presidency's Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "President Nizar Amedi received Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and his accompanying delegation at Baghdad Palace."

During the meeting, they discussed the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of continued communication and expanding cooperation in the political, economic, and cultural fields, as well as reviewing developments in the region.
