Iraq's Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein reaffirmed, on Thursday, Iraq’s position calling for the prioritization of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing outstanding issues, while emphasizing Iraq’s rejection of military and hostile actions in the Middle East.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), noted that "Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein delivered a speech during the annual coordination meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) ministers. The meeting was held at the United Nations headquarters in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, and was attended by OIC Secretary-General Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed."
