Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadiq, confirmed on Wednesday that Iraq is witnessing an economic and urban shift that promises a bright future, while pointing out that Iraq is distinguished by its pivotal role in the Arab-Islamic dialogue to preserve Syria's sovereignty and security.

Al-Sadiq said during a speech he delivered at the memorial festival held by the Iranian embassy in Baghdad on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of victory, which was attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We commemorate the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of victory and the heroes of the fight against global terrorism, the two martyr leaders, Hajj Qasim Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, at a time when the region is witnessing major, rapid and influential developments after Al-Aqsa Flood operations."
