AzerTelecom and Telecom Armenia signed bilateral agreements to ensure Armenia’s international internet connectivity via the territory of Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the agreements, AzerTelecom, the region’s leading backbone internet operator, will expand the geographic scope of its international internet traffic transmission services and will also provide internet traffic transit toward Armenia using its own infrastructure, News.Az reports.

Such agreements contribute to the diversification of communication routes in the region, further improving the reliability of telecommunications networks and promoting cooperation in the telecommunications sector.
