Ilham Aliyev outlines plans to host joint military drills for the Organization of Turkic States in 2026 and create a green energy corridor linking Central Asia, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Europe.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev proposed hosting joint military exercises of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) member countries in Azerbaijan in 2026.

Aliyev said the OTS has evolved “from a platform for cooperation into one of the significant geopolitical centers,” stressing the importance of unity among Turkic states in ensuring peace and regional stability.
