Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, met with Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Commander of the Pakistan Navy, who is currently on an official visit to Azerbaijan.

Prior to the meeting, the Pakistani delegation visited the Alley of Martyrs and paid tribute to those who gave their lives for the country’s independence.

The Chief of the General Staff emphasized the deep historical roots of relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan and highlighted the high level of development in bilateral military cooperation.
