The Turkmen-Japanese political consultations between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs were held in Turkmenistan, the Foreign Ministry reports.
The Turkmen side was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov, the Japanese side by Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for Central Asia Masaki Ikegami.
The parties noted the positive dynamics of the development of Turkmen-Japanese relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian fields. The effectiveness of interparliamentary cooperation was emphasized.
