We congratulate Moldovan people and Gagauz Turks on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Law on the Special Legal Status of Gagauzia (Gagauz Yeri) by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on 23 December 1994.
The establishment of the Autonomy has secured the protection of rights and interests of Gagauz Turks, reinforced the peace and stability of Moldova, and built a unique bridge of friendship between Türkiye and Moldova.
Türkiye remains committed to supporting Gagauz Turks and Gagauzia, which are inseparable from Moldova.
