Ignazio Cassis, Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland and OSCE Chairman-in-Office, praised Azerbaijan’s contribution to the regional peace process.

“Azerbaijan’s geopolitical position has enabled the country to serve as a vital hub. During the meeting, we also exchanged views on these opportunities,” Cassis said during a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku on Tuesday, AZERTAC reported.

"We have also discussed the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process. A year has passed since the initialing of the peace agreement. We welcome and highly appreciate your country's contribution to this process," Cassis added.
