Iraq's President Nizar Amidi emphasized to the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Anil Bora Inan, on Monday, the necessity of finding solutions to address the water crisis.

"Amidi received Turkish Ambassador Anil Bora Inan at Baghdad Palace," according to the Presidential Media Office press release received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The statement added that "the President received a congratulatory message from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in which he expressed his warmest congratulations on assuming the presidency," affirming that "his country attaches great importance to the security, stability, and prosperity of Iraq."
