The session of the North Atlantic Council, held on Monday in the Belgian capital Brussels, and attended by Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, witnessed statements from the representatives of ten NATO member states.

Ten NATO member states' representatives, including the United States, France, Türkiye, the Netherlands, Italy, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Greece, Hungary, and Latvia, gave statements during the session. Some representatives also conveyed the positions of additional NATO member states, according to a statement by the PM Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

The session featured strong expressions of international support for the Iraqi government’s policies and its efforts to address security challenges, particularly its role in shielding Iraq from the consequences of the escalating tensions in the region.
