Nouri Al-Maliki, head of the Iraqi State of Law Coalition, held separate meetings on Monday with the ambassadors of Italy, Turkey, and Jordan to discuss Iraq’s current political situation, recent election results, and upcoming constitutional milestones. The talks come at a sensitive moment as political forces work to finalize post-election arrangements and adhere to constitutional timelines.

According to a statement from Al-Maliki’s media office, the State of Law leader received Italian Ambassador Nicolo Fontana, Turkish Ambassador Anil Bora Inan, and Jordanian Ambassador Maher Al-Tarawneh in individual meetings at his office in Baghdad. The discussions focused on the broader political landscape, regional developments, and the implications of the latest parliamentary elections.
