German lawmaker, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Bundestag (German parliament) Michael Roth has lauded Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for his ‘courage and determination’ in the peace talks with Azerbaijan.

“Thanks to PM Nikol Pashinyan for his courage and determination,” Roth said in a post on X after meeting the Armenian Premier in Yerevan. “He is standing up to Russian imperialism and works hard with Azerbaijan on a peace treaty that will secure the territorial integrity of both countries. Democracy and freedom need security. The EU must finally do more for Armenia and the South Caucasus.”
