Armenia has set 2029 as the target deadline for implementing the EU–Armenia Visa Liberalisation Action Plan, Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan said during a meeting with a delegation of the European Union Council’s Working Party on Eastern Europe and Central Asia on September 28.

The meeting was attended by EU Ambassador to Armenia Vassilis Maragos, ambassadors of EU member states, representatives of Armenia’s Interior Ministry and diplomatic missions.

Sargsyan thanked the EU delegation for its continued efforts to advance Armenia–EU cooperation, stressing that close and constructive cooperation with the European Union and a shared agenda are producing tangible results.
