Organization of Turkic States (30 March 2026)

The 5th Meeting of the Heads of Space Agencies of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held on 30 March 2026 in Tashkent, bringing together high-level representatives from the Member States and Observers to further strengthen strategic cooperation on space.

During the meeting, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS, emphasized that cooperation in the space area has become an important pillar of integration within the Turkic World. He highlighted the steady progress achieved under the 12U OTS-SAT Cube Satellite Project, noting that the initiative reflects the collective capacity, technical expertise, and shared vision of the participating countries.

The Heads of Space Agencies reviewed the final stages of the satellite’s manufacturing process and exchanged views on its launch. They reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the successful completion and operation of the project as a flagship example of joint innovation.
