On 21 May, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in a videoconference at a regular meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

Uzbekistan received the status of an observer state with the Eurasian Economic Union during the summit of this Organization on 11 December 2020.

Over the past period, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Eurasian Economic Commission and a three-year Action Plan for its implementation. Representatives of our country participate in various multilateral events of the EAEU. In April of this year, a meeting of the Council for Industrial Policy of the Association and an international exhibition "Innoprom" was held in the city of Tashkent.
