LEBANESE PARLIAMENT SPEAKER BERRI PRAISES IRAQ'S SUPPORTIVE STANCE TOWARDS THE LEBANESE PEOPLE

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri praised Iraq's supportive stance toward Lebanon on Tuesday in a message delivered by his envoy, MP Qablan Qablan, to President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid during their meeting at the Baghdad Palace.
A statement issued by the Presidency's Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received a message from Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. This came during his reception at the Baghdad Palace of the envoy of Lebanese Parliament Speaker MP Qabalan Qabalan, in the presence of Lebanese Ambassador to Iraq Ali Adeeb Al-Habhab."
