The Second Deputy Speaker of Iraq's Parliament Shakhawan Abdullah stressed on Thursday that the international community must act to lift the siege on Gaza.

In a speech at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Abdullah said, "Despite all the wars and crises it has faced, Iraq remains committed to being part of the solution, not the problem. It is a voice supporting stability and lasting peace, and a strategic partner in shaping a more just and balanced international future."
