Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received a written message on Tuesday from his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi, addressing key international issues and the situation in the region.

Hussein received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadeq, in Baghdad on Tuesday, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The statement added that "the Ambassador delivered a written message from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi during the meeting."
