ALIJA: LACK OF COOPERATION BETWEEN KOSOVO AND SERBIA IS THE WEAKEST POINT IN SOLVING WAR CRIMES

Around 24 indictments in absentia have been filed so far against 121 people suspected of war crimes in Kosovo, Amer Alija from the Humanitarian Law Center announced on the 27th anniversary of the Recak massacre.
According to him, the indictments are not only related to murder, but also to deportations and mistreatment of civilians during the war.
Alija emphasized that there is still no person convicted by a final decision for the Recak massacre.
