The official spokesperson for the Iraqi government, Basim al-Awadi, confirmed on Tuesday that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces has directed the formation of committees to communicate with brotherly Arab and Gulf states regarding the attacks that targeted some Gulf countries. He emphasized that the government will take all necessary measures to preserve the security and stability of Iraq and the region.

Al-Awadi stated in remarks to Al-Iraqiya News, which were also followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the region is witnessing escalating tensions extending from Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria to the Gulf states," noting that "recent developments have created a state of sensitivity and resentment among brotherly nations."
