The Slovenian ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has been summoned to the country’s foreign ministry to explain recent rumours about alleged plans by Ljubljana for the dissolution of the country hosting her and a redrawing of borders across the Western Balkans(*).

Bosnian media reported on Monday (12 April) that ambassador Zorica Bukinac had been summoned because of a non-paper that Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša reportedly sent to the EU about changing borders in the Western Balkans(*), something Janša already denied.

Western Balkans: (*) AVİM considers the term "Western Balkans" to be a politically motivated separatist terminology and persists on the use of the geographical and historical identification "Balkans" regarding the region.
