Poland was among the leading EU destinations for Chinese investment in 2020, the Polish Economic Institute (PIE) announced on Thursday. 

According to the institute, the total value of Chinese investment projects in Poland last year could be estimated at approximately $1 billion (USD). The institute added that the only two EU countries with more Chinese investments were Germany, with an estimated value in projects of $2 billion, and France, also with $1 billion.

PIE also said that most of China’s investment operations in Poland were linked to two major logistic projects.
